SUPPORT THE FRIENDS OF HOLCOMB FARM

The Friends of Holcomb Farm is the nonprofit, member-based organization that oversees all the ways in which the farm serves people in Granby and beyond. Your annual gift of $25 or more makes you a member, and helps support the important work we do. We hope you'll join us, and connect with this special place -- this "jewel of Granby" -- Holcomb Farm.

WHAT IS FRESH ACCESS?

Check out this video, created by students from the University of Saint Joseph who conducted interviews at Holcomb Farm in 2022. It does a great job of explaining our Fresh Access program, through which we grow food for people in need.

VISIT OUR TREE TRAIL

Comprised of both mature and newly-planted trees, the Holcomb Tree Trail is located on the east side of Simsbury Road across from the main Holcomb Farm complex. Trees are labeled and the trail is marked with interpretive signs that teach visitors about not only trees, but wildlife, geology and more.

What a great way to celebrate - with a glass of great local wine with friends.PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE with friends and help us FILL THE DUMPSTER! Join the Granby Land Trust in our Third Annual 🌎 Earth Day Roadside Cleanup, April 18 - 22! Last year, you helped us pick up more than 1,500 pounds of trash along Granby's roadsides. Let’s do even more this year 📈! This is a DIY event. You simply choose the street or neighborhood you'd like to tidy, then shoot us an email 📧 at info@granbylandtrust.org to let us know where you plan to work so we can track our reach (we’ll also send you more info the week before the event). You provide the power; we’ll provide the dumpster. Many hands make light work and a cleaner Granby. Invite your family, neighborhood friends, book club, youth group, sports team, or church group to get involved! Send us a photo (at info@granbylandtrust.org) so we can use it to inspire others. Post a pic on your own social media to inspire your friends. And once you’re done, if you’re over 21, you’re invited to Lost Acres Vineyard for a free glass of wine (go to www.granbylandtrust.org to learn more). Let’s make a difference this Earth Day 2024!
